How to Install\Run
-
If you use the itch.io app, Sands installs and updates automatically.
-
If you download the zip directly, just unzip and run the game, no installation needed. you might see the windows defender or smartscreen protection says something along the lines of "Publisher is not trusted", you can just click on "details" or "more details" and tell it to run anyways (the reason you see it is that I'm not gonna pay $$ for a certificate for a free hobby game)
- Note: You might be seeing an error about a missing vcrun140.dll, this is because you miss the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015" , you can download it from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145
-
The game saves automatically when you quit.
