Immersive UI Upgrades
The UI now supports full-screen boxes, allowing menus like inventory to cover the entire game screen for better readability. New helper methods were added in UIComponent to draw these full-screen elements

  • Survival Tent Item
    A new consumable item lets players set up a temporary tent to rest wherever they are in the desert. Using it creates a survival tent entity on the level

  • Low Health Visual Warnings
    When health drops too low, a pulsing red border now appears on the screen, giving a clear visual cue that it’s time to heal or escape

  • Enhanced Game Over Screen
    Game over now features a proper screen with statistics like total turns, days survived, XP gained, and quests completed. It displays a themed background and waits for input before exiting

  • Map Exploration Improvements
    Levels track which areas you’ve discovered, rendering unexplored regions in fog until you visit them. Friendly levels remain visible even in fog, so exploration feels more natural

  • Better Combat Feedback
    Marked enemies have a pulsing outline and a line showing attack range, making it easier to judge when you can strike

  • Other Notables
    • Inventory screen now features category tabs for quick browsing.
    • New transition zones streamline moving between levels.
    • Spice Charge explosion visuals have been updated.
    • Various performance tweaks and minor fixes across the game.
